1. Introduction

This Shipping & Delivery Policy (“Policy”) outlines how EuraWays Logistics Limited (“we”, “our”, “the Company”) manages shipment bookings, transportation processes, delivery procedures, and associated responsibilities.

This Policy applies to all B2B logistics services performed by EuraWays, including:

  • International freight forwarding (air, sea, road, rail)

  • Warehousing & consolidation

  • Customs processing

  • Delivery & distribution across Asia, Europe, and the Americas

EuraWays provides global shipping services through its international network.

3. Shipping Methods

We offer multiple modes of transport depending on urgency, budget, and cargo requirements:

a. Air Freight

  • Standard air cargo

  • Express air services

  • Cross-border air freight Hong Kong–Europe/USA

  • Suitable for urgent or high-value shipments

b. Sea Freight

  • FCL (Full Container Load)

  • LCL (Less than Container Load) consolidation

  • Port-to-port or door-to-door delivery

  • Suitable for large volumes and cost-efficient shipping

c. Rail Freight

  • China → Europe rail express

  • Transit times faster than sea, cheaper than air

d. Road Freight

  • Last-mile delivery networks in Europe & America

  • Palletized B2B transportation

Multimodal solutions can be arranged depending on needs.


4. Booking a Shipment

To book a shipment, the Client must provide:

  • Accurate cargo description

  • Weight, dimensions & packaging details

  • Pickup & delivery addresses

  • Commercial invoice & packing list

  • Any required permits or compliance documents

  • Contact person at origin and destination

Incomplete or incorrect information may delay processing or increase costs.


5. Processing & Handling Times

a. Pickup

Pickup typically occurs within:

  • 24–72 hours after booking confirmation (depending on location)

  • Weekends and public holidays may cause extensions

b. Handling & Consolidation

Handling time varies based on:

  • Cargo type

  • Documentation completeness

  • Customs requirements

  • Consolidation schedules (for LCL shipments)

Typical processing window: 1–5 business days.


6. Transit & Delivery Times

Transit times depend on transport mode and destination:

Air Freight

2–7 days (typical HK → EU/US routes)

Sea Freight

  • HK → Europe: 25–40 days

  • HK → USA: 14–30 days

Rail Freight

China → Europe: 14–21 days

Road Freight

Intra-EU & USA deliveries: 1–7 days

Transit times are estimates only, not guaranteed.
EuraWay is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Customs inspections

  • Weather conditions

  • Carrier scheduling issues

  • Port/airport congestion

  • Strikes or force majeure


7. Delivery Procedures

Upon arrival at destination:

  • The receiver must be available during delivery windows

  • A delivery note or signature may be required

  • For B2B deliveries, forklifts or unloading equipment may be required (Client responsibility)

If delivery fails due to Client unavailability:

  • Redelivery fees may apply

  • Cargo may be returned to a warehouse at the Client’s cost


8. Tracking & Notifications

We provide:

  • Real-time shipment tracking

  • Automated status updates (pickup, transit, customs, arrival)

  • Delivery confirmation notifications

9. Customs & Import Regulations

Customs clearance is required for all international shipments.

Responsibility of the Client:

  • Provide accurate and complete documents

  • Pay duties, taxes, and import fees

  • Ensure goods comply with the destination country’s regulations

EuraWays can assist with:

  • Customs brokerage

  • HS code verification

  • Import/export advisory

Delays caused by customs are outside the Company’s control.


10. Shipping Restrictions

The following items cannot be shipped unless specifically approved in writing:

  • Dangerous goods (DG/hazardous cargo)

  • Counterfeit or illegal goods

  • Weapons or controlled equipment

  • High-value items (cash, gold, jewelry)

  • Perishable or temperature-sensitive items

  • Chemicals or lithium batteries without certification

Shipping restricted items without disclosure may lead to service termination.


11. Damage, Loss & Delivery Issues

Any issues must be reported following our Refund & Claims Policy.

Report deadlines:

  • Visible damage: within 48 hours

  • Hidden damage: within 7 days

  • Delay: within 14 days

  • Loss: within 30 days

Photos and documentation are required.


12. Insurance

Standard shipments are covered by limited carrier liability only.
To ensure full protection, the Client may purchase cargo insurance prior to shipment pickup.

Without insurance, compensation is limited according to international transport conventions.


13. Fees & Additional Charges

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Storage or demurrage

  • Customs penalties

  • Incorrect or missing documentation

  • Redelivery or failed delivery attempts

  • Handling oversized or heavy cargo

  • Special equipment or manual unloading

The Client is responsible for all additional charges.


14. Changes & Modifications

EuraWays reserves the right to:

  • Modify shipping routes

  • Use alternative carriers

  • Adjust schedules or transit modes

Any change made for operational or safety reasons does not constitute a breach of contract.
